Yesterday was the national day of listening.  You can following the guidelines at at the official website or just do it on your own.  Basically you take one hour out of the day to interview someone you love about their life (or about someone who is no longer here). A sad day for the Meat-packing district...
The Meat-packing district…not a neighborhood I venture to often unless it’s for a special occasion or a night at Highline, Pop Burger (burgers only) or the Hog Pit (although I have had some good Ganesvoort nights back in the day).  And now I have another reason not to venture crosstown…the Hog Pit is MOVING!!  To make matters worse, it’s moving to the Flatiron district!? ...
